The body of this pattern is woven using a banded weave, alternating between two coloured marabou floss threads. This is probably the easiest of the weaving techniques to learn and can be used in a variety of fly patterns with materials ranging from threads & flosses to synthetics such as chennile and larva lace etc.
*Orange and black are used here, but this technique opens up opportunities for many colour combinations to suit your local conditions.
