The Chenille Nymph is one of the easiest patterns to tie and probably one of the first that a novice fly tyer will attempt after a buzzer. The pattern can be tied in a variety of colours to suit the conditions and an orange variety can work well in bright conditions.
An effective pattern all season, it can be tied with or without bead eyes, gold bead head or even lead wire under the body allowing the pattern to be fished at varying depths.
